I love to paint people and tell stories. For this reason I focus on portrait painting and illustration. I am inspired by everyday scenes, familiar emotions, and the beauty that is all around us. I paint to evoke a sense of wonder, comfort, and nostalgia, and for others to feel that they are not alone in this beautiful, complicated, wonderful world.

I am a traditional artist, working in watercolor and acrylic, graphite, colored pencil, and ink. I love to experiment with styles, techniques, and new materials. My latest obsession is playing with acrylic markers.

Fine Art

Working as a professional artist since 2010, I have created hundreds of custom paintings for private collectors, business, and publishers worldwide.

My portraits are a celebration of love, family, and happy memories. My goal is to achieve a perfect likeness, while also capturing my subject’s personality and unique beauty.

Illustration

My illustrations blend of humor, storytelling, drama, and attention to detail. My work appears in over 40 children’s books, book covers, magazines, and other publications. I also creates art for business, advertisements, editorials, and social media accounts.

Teaching
